| PARACLETES We're just a bunch of sinners saved by Grace who love being men. We do all of the "manly" stuff like shooting guns, riding motorcycles, camping, paintballing, building stuff, and playing video games. The History Behind The PARACLETES We originally got together as a small group Bible study. The more time we spent together, the more we realized that God had brought us together for a greater purpose. God has awakened the dangerous, daring, reckless men in us that society tries so hard to suppress in men today. What Does PARACLETES Mean? Well, you know when you're running in a race? A PARACLETE would be the guy who's running beside you encouraging you...that's us! PARACLETE - Par"a*clete, n. [L. paracletus, Gr., from to call to one, to exhort, encourage; beside to call.] An advocate; one called to aid or support; hence, the Counselor, Comforter, or Intercessor; -- a term applied to the Holy Spirit. PARACLETES (aka: Pair of Cleats) What can a pair of cleats do for you? They can help you dig in to stand your ground. They can help you avoid unnecessary collisions, They support you agaisnt the inevitable collisions In the necessary and just battle. They can help you move quickly, when needed. They can support you on a slippery slope. Two are more effective than one alone. They are always ready to be called upon. Time and use makes them more effective.
